Stalling.

Today marks 7 months until our wedding, down from 30 months. Oh lordy time flies by far. to. fast. How is it already almost November?!

.:staying on topic:.

With only 7 months to go to the wedding I still have *so* much to do.
- Florist (narrowed down to 2 or 3)
- DJ
- Transportation
- Cake

Lately I just haven't been feeling it. Dare I say that I'm burnt out from being all weddings, all the time? Maybe I'm just tired or distracted by other things in life.

Did you go through a stalling phase in your planning. How long did it last? Do I still have hope?

Yeah, we kind of did the same thing, guess its cause there is still quite a lot of time left.

Although I had carried on with things like the invites etc, we only just got the florist & cake finalised last week, with 5 months to go!

I think we are at the start of our stalling phase. All major things are booked (sans florist), and there just doesn't seem to be a rush all of a sudden.

BUT I know stuff is creeping up on me, like STDs, bridesmaid dresses, colors, you get the idea.

Maybe we should go to another wedding event and get back into the swing of things...

I just stumbled upon your blog...:) I'm so with you on the stalling...I was just telling my boyfriend the same thing this morning. Our date is 4/24. What's yours? I haven't actually secured anything but the caterer. But so far, its turning into so much drama we may just elope. Good luck with your planning!

We only had about a ten month "official" engagement, but we had started planning long before the actual proposal. I got all the important stuff taken care of (DJ,cake, church, hall, bridal party, etc.) All the small stuff fell into place within the last three months before the wedding. It'll be fine :) Good luck with everything.
