I probably won't post my actual Save the Dates until after I'm sure that everyone has gotten them. But here's a draft that's been ruled out. Zack thinks that the pattern is too girly. Which it might be a little bit but I still sort of love them. It's my first go around with them anyway so thoughts are welcome.
The typeface is various weights of Gotham. Probably not a surprise to most people. It's a typeface we used a lot in UM publications and I'm still a bit stuck on it.

love the type face. i like the two colors too but for some reason my eye connects the & and the actual spelled out date. maybe just b/c it's small. Also, just food for throught - you use caps in the first line but then go to all lower case at the end. might wanna pick one way or the other. i obvs love the all lowercase. :) looks really great. if that's the junked version, i can't wait to see the final versions!
love the graphic pattern! although there is one darker green that stands out in a strange way on the curls in the background. also the zack & sarah seems oddly centered. i can't wait to get the real version in the mail!!!

Good luck with all the planning, try not to lose your head in the midst of it all. Planning is fun, and stressful...but you won't remember all the little bitty details afterward. I remember eating Subway with the bridesmaids...with my veil on (very classy), walking down the aisle with my daddy, and his speech during the ceremony. I remember the vows, and the kiss...and getting cake shoved in my hair at the reception. Other than that and a few other things, it's a big blur.
why no picture of the two of you on the save the date?
i only say that because those are the save the dates i think i like the most...because you clearly cant put them on the formal invitations, but its always so great to see a picture of the happy couple.
